This term, we’ll be using individual blogs to keep a record of our ideas, to interact with peers, and to make new knowledge. Each week, you’ll be responsible for creating two blog posts in your personal blog–here’s the full assignment for EN290 and EN502. If you’ve posted effectively, they should appear in the feed to the left. You can click on the title of an interesting entry, read it, and add a comment of your own.
Some things to remember:
- If you’re using one blog for two separate classes, the feed cannot discriminate, and all your posts will appear. So,
- Be sure to title your posts effectively–which you should be doing already! A good title would be something that identifies the class and the content of your post.
- Check out your class posts often–new content should be available almost every day!
- Be sure, when you add links to your peers’ blogs from your own, that the URL is correct. Computers aren’t smart, and they can’t compensate for a missing letter.
- You are in control of your electronic domain–this means you have certain responsibilities. Among them: moderating your posts! Be sure to check your dashboard often so that you can approve (or deny) publication to any comments that have been made on your blog. We might call this “daily pruning.”
Good luck, and have fun!
