Wellness Calendar

The Healthy Monday’s campaign begins this fall on September 10th with a 1-mile walk around both Main and Ballston campuses. All events begin at 12.30pm in the Gerard dining hall on main campus and in the lobby of the Ballston campus. The events are open to all Marymount community members. Please dress in appropriate footwear for walking.

September 10th Campaign launch day!! 1 mile walk around campus (Ballston and main campus) 12:30-1.30pm.  Participants should meet in the Gerard dining hall (main) and the lobby at Ballston- all abilities welcome, please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink. CNN has a recent report on Walking for Health.

September 17th. Smoking Cessation Education. Hosted by the Student Health center:The Kicking Butts information session.

September 24th: Manic Monday. Depression screening and awareness. Hosted by the  Counseling Center.

October 15th. Manic Monday- depression screening and awareness. Hosted by the Counseling Center.

October 22nd. Body Mass Index screening and information. Hosted by the department of Health and Human Performance.

October 29th. Flu and Cold prevention information. Hosted by the Student Health Center.

November 5th. 1 mile walk. 1 mile walk around campus (Ballston and main campus) 12:30-1.30pm. Participants should meet in the Gerard dining hall (main) and the lobby at Ballston- all abilities welcome, please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink.

November 12th. Substance Abuse Awareness Day.  Games, Prizes and Giveaways! Yoga relaxation session (all are welcome to join in). Hosted by the Counseling Center and local yoga studio instructors.

November 19th. Student Vegetable chili cook-off. Hosted by Sodexo.

December 10th. Stress Management. Hosted by the Counseling Center and the Student Health Center.
